Alhambra Lunar New Year Celebration Feb. 1
Come out and enjoy great food, amazing cultural performances and other
family friendly activities. On the stages, there will be all-day entertainment
with lion dances, kung fu demonstrations, and other ethnic performances.

Hart Park Site Improvements Community Outreach Pop-Up Feb. 1
We are looking for input from the community on the possible exterior
accessibility and amenity upgrades at Hart Park. Join City Staff, Landscape
Architects, Commissioners, and Community Members as we learn more
about the park and discuss design improvements.

Puppybowl 2020 Feb. 2
Half the dogs will be given bandanas to distinguish between the teams
(shirts vs skin). First 7 to sign up get a free Common Space bandana! Any
time one of the dogs crosses the touchdown line while carrying a toy
football they earn a point for their team.

Senior Community Health Screening Feb. 3

Breast Cancer Alliance Tees Up for Charity Golf Outing Feb. 3
Breast Cancer Alliance (BCA) holds annual golf outings with the goal of
funding innovative early-stage breast cancer research. Format: Best Ball
11am. Registration and Lunch Buffet opens on the Terrace 1pm. Shotgun
Start 5:30pm. Cocktails, dinner buffet and prizes.

LA Art Show Feb. 5-9
More than 200,000 square feet of exhibition space is committed to today’s
prominent galleries. These domestic and international galleries, beyond
their booths, curate special exhibits that are at the forefront of the

array of works and experiences in specialized sections.

Lucas Oil NHRA Winternationals Feb. 6-9
This will be the first opportunity for fans to see new cars and updated paint
schemes, not to mention meet the drivers in person as they kick off the
2020 NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series. Fans of all ages can take part
in activities during the weekend including meet and greets, autograph
sessions and prerace ceremonies.

Cupid’s Undie Run Feb. 8
In 2010, a group of do-gooders dropped their pants and ran through the
D.C. cold to raise money for research to help end neurofibromatosis (NF), a
rare genetic disorder that causes tumors to grow on nerves throughout the
body. They ran in their undies because those affected with NF can’t cover
up their tumors, so they decided to strip down in solidarity.

Belmont Shore Chocolate Festival Feb. 8
Enter the dessert contest if you have a recipe for a chocolate dessert
worthy of an award. A panel of judges will sample the desserts and choose

2020 State of the City Economic Summit Feb. 12
