    First Night in Fullerton Dec. 31
    Check out the fun at First Night, the City of Fullerton’s annual alcohol-free New Year’s Eve celebration of the arts. The event is FREE and includes a full line-up of live entertainment, games, food vendors, activities and more. The festival ends at midnight as the sky lights up with an incredible aerial display of fireworks to ring in the New Year.
    Time/Place: 7 p.m. to 12 midnight / The event primarily takes place at varying locations between Harbor Blvd. on the west and Pomona Ave on the east in historic downtown Fullerton.

    Kidseum New Years Celebration Dec. 31
    Come celebrate the New Year with Kidseum! Your child can craft the day away with fun New Year’s themed projects. In the Art Studio, kids will create hand-made reusable confetti poppers and colorful noisemakers that they can use at home during the real countdown. The kiddos will practice countdowns every hour on the hour, beginning at noon, to be ready for the New Year’s countdown. Kids can practice making as much noise as possible with their hand-crafted noise makers and practice shooting their confetti! In the Glow Cave, we will make glowing wish wands that will even glow in the dark when you take them home!

    The Huntington Beach Academy for the Performing Arts presents Side Show, a musical based on the true story of conjoined twins Violet and Daisy Hilton who became stars during the Depression. Side Show is a moving portrait of two women joined at the hip whose extraordinary bondage brings them fame, but denies them love. HB APAs Musical Theatre department presents this annual fundraiser and show, which will be complete with opportunity baskets, auctions, and a pre-show one hour before each performance.
